Stowe Housing Needs Assessment

We’re excited to start work on a housing plan for Stowe, VT, a community with some of the starkest affordability gaps in the country but also some unique and promising opportunities to make a difference toward more attainable housing in the future.

The process includes an extensive market and demographic analysis, stakeholder interviews, public workshops, and a package of detailed recommendations. Along the way, we will produce a stream of digital content to expand awareness and participation across more of the community, including social media cards, an online dashboard, and an interactive survey.

Jeff Sauser, co-founding Principal at CommunityScale, has over 10 years experience leading urban design and planning projects for public and private sector clients in complex urban contexts across the country. His work emphasizes the role of housing policy and production in driving economic development progress and creating opportunities for socioeconomic mobility across the community. He is particularly interested in applying emerging big data resources and AI tools to help clients and communities plan smarter and more proactively.
