CommunityScale to lead a Housing Assessment Study for Johnson County, IA

We’re excited to begin work on a housing study for Johnson County, Iowa. Intended to dovetail with a related study for Iowa City and adjacent larger municipalities, our study will focus exclusively on the unincorporated parts of the county plus a collection of smaller cities outside the immediate metropolitan area.

The work will include in-depth quantitative analysis and extensive community and stakeholder engagement. We will build a suite of deliverables such as an online dashboard, interactive maps, and social media collateral designed to help spread awareness and drive engagement with the process.

Here is the county’s announcement which summarizes the project’s goals and anticipated outcomes from the client’s perspective.
