This Privacy Policy describes how CommunityScale LLC and our corporate subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively, “CommunityScale”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collect, use, and share the information of people who visit communityscale.io or use CommunityScale products and services (collectively, the “Services”).

1) Personal Information We May Collect

a. Information you provide to us directly

You may provide certain information to us through the Services including:

  • Contact information — first and last name, email address, phone number, professional title, and organization name.
  • Account information — username, password, and any account preferences for the Services.

b. Information we obtain from social media platforms

We may maintain pages for CommunityScale on social media platforms such as LinkedIn and X (formerly Twitter). When you interact with our pages on those platforms, the platform provider’s privacy policy applies. If you choose to connect your account on a third-party platform or network to our Services, we may receive information from that platform or network, and we will treat such information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

c. Cookies and other information collected by automated means

We, our service providers, and our business partners may automatically collect information about you, your device, and your activity on the Services. This may include:

  • Access/update your information — If you have an account, you may update certain personal information in your account settings.
  • Opt out of marketing communications — You may unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link in each message. You will still receive non-marketing messages.
  • Cookies & browser storage — See Section 4 for disabling cookies or tracking.

6) Security Practices

We employ technical, organizational, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

7) International Data Transfers

We operate in the United States. By using the Services, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the United States, which may not provide the same data protection as other jurisdictions.

8) Children

The Services are not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn we have done so, we will delete it.

9) Links to External Sites and Services

Our Services may contain links to third-party sites. This Privacy Policy does not govern those sites; please review their own privacy policies.

10) California Do-Not-Track Disclosure

CommunityScale does not currently recognize or respond to Do-Not-Track signals.

11) Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy by posting the new version on the Services with a new effective date. If changes are material, we will provide notice as required by law.
