1. Your Acceptance of These Terms of Use

Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) carefully before using this website as they represent a binding agreement between each user of our website (“you”, “your”) and CommunityScale LLC (referred to as “CommunityScale”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

If you wish to access and use the website and/or our products or services (collectively, the “Services”), you must accept and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use our Services. Your continued use of our Services shall constitute your agreement to these Terms.

3. Proprietary Rights

a. License Grant

CommunityScale grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to access our website for personal and non-commercial use in compliance with applicable law. Any use beyond the authorized scope immediately terminates this license.

b. Trademark and Copyright Information

The website content (text, audio, images, and other materials) (“Content”) is protected by copyright and trademark laws. Any reproduction or redistribution of our website or Content is prohibited without our written consent.

Certain names, graphics, and logos are trademarks of CommunityScale (“Marks”). Any use of Marks without written consent is prohibited.

Although CommunityScale does not claim ownership of user-submitted content, by submitting content or feedback, you grant CommunityScale a perpetual, worldwide license to use it.

You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or commercially exploit the website.

4. Rules and Prohibitions

The following restrictions apply to your use of the Services:

  • No resale, licensing, or exploitation inconsistent with these Terms.
  • No modification, reverse engineering, or competitive use.
  • No copying, republishing, or unauthorized linking/mirroring.
  • No interference with functionality or security features.

CommunityScale reserves the right to remove content or suspend accounts in violation of these Terms.

The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. You release CommunityScale from all claims arising from use of the Services. Liability is limited to $100 in direct damages; no consequential damages are covered.

You agree to indemnify CommunityScale against any claims arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

11. Unsolicited Submissions

Any submissions to CommunityScale become our property without obligation to you.

12. General Matters

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms are the full agreement between you and CommunityScale.
  • Governing Law: These Terms are governed by Massachusetts law.
  • Venue: Any disputes shall be in courts located in Massachusetts.
  • Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver.
  • Severability: Invalid provisions will not affect remaining Terms.
  • Assignment: You may not assign these Terms; CommunityScale may assign without restriction.
